Mercedes-Benz recently released the all new A-Class in the U.S., becoming the new entry-level sedan for the Mercedes-Benz lineup. The U.S. audience is used to shifts in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, with the previous entry level vehicle, the C 300, being superseded by the CLA 250, and the CLA 250 being superseded by the A 220.

But the CLA 250 has now moved into a higher price tier, with all-new standard equipment, setting it up as the perfect vehicle between the C 300 and A 220. Now with a starting price of $37,645 for the front-wheel-drive CLA 250, including mandatory $995 destination charge, Mercedes-Benz has ensured the vehicle has more features between both the standard inclusions and optional packages to satisfy any customers.

Even better, Mercedes-Benz has already revealed that the CLA will receive a few variations of the AMG® versions, including 35, 45, and 45 S variations. Meanwhile, optional feature for the CLA 250 will include a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster and an infotainment touchscreen of the same size, along with Driver Assistance, Parking Assistance, and Multimedia packages.

This change in design should ensure a better buying environment for clients, where the CLA will be a more suitable price for its build quality, while also creating clear definition of what vehicle to look at and tweak based on their current budgets.
