Sky for all

Every passenger can take in the sun and stars through the standard Panorama roof. A large, power-operated panel can tilt up or slide open for a breeze, or close the power mesh screen for shade. Sunshades are also available for rear-cabin windows.

Boost with a twist

Turbocharging and high-tech help the 255-hp E 350 inline-4 and 375-hp E 450 inline-6 deliver smooth, torque-rich response. Their 48-volt mild hybrid systems can add power and torque electrically, for a gas-free boost and smoother stop-start engagement.

Smooth urgency

With nine speeds, an electronic column selector and shift paddles at your fingertips, the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission offers crisp gear changes and easy driver control. Three overdrive ratios enhance highway cruising.

Touch tuning

DYNAMIC SELECT can fine-tune performance with the tap of a console button. Selectable drive modes can vary the shifting, throttle, steering and more. Modes include easygoing ECO, sharp Sport, and customizable Individual

Supple sharpness
